These systems must integrate high-fidelity audio reproduction with bidirectional voice communication, while maintaining situational awareness of the external acoustic environment.

Our Audiosphere technology addresses these requirements by leveraging the core principles of Bluac’s Fresh Air acoustic processing. The system generates a localised full-bandwidth acoustic field around the listener’s head, forming a controlled near-field sound zone. Low frequency sound is attenuated by 40 dB beyond a few centimetres from the listener, minimising acoustic spill and preventing interference with other occupants’ listening zones.

Audiosphere Headrest eliminates the need for headphones or in-ear devices, enabling natural, open-ear listening within the vehicle. As a result, users can seamlessly engage in hands-free telephony and mobile device interaction, while remaining perceptually connected to critical external auditory cues, such as emergency vehicle sirens and warning signals.
