Dr Greg Cambrell
Dr Greg Cambrell was for many years a senior lecturer at Monash University, Melbourne, where he taught electromagnetic theory, circuit theory, electro-acoustics and advanced mathematics. He has long had a strong personal interest in hi-fidelity audio. His academic research work has led to important scientific papers and patents. Since retiring from Monash he has continued to act as a consultant to various local companies in the areas of electromagnetics, acoustics and acoustic modelling, and he provides invaluable support to the scientific and mathematical validation of Blueprint’s technologies.
Zel Velican is an inventor and now has 4 patents in his name. He has spent the last 35 years in the pursuit of excellence in audio reproduction. From an early age Zel spent many spare moments building audio systems from the ground up seeking to identify what humans find the most pleasing to listen to. While undertaking this practical experimentation and years of trial and error Zel has amassed a wealth of knowledge about many aspects of both car and home speakers, woofers, sub woofers, amplifiers, transducers etc. Whilst he has been making audio systems for himself and others for both car and home from his garage for 25 years or more, in the last decade or so he has designed speakers for the likes of Aston Martin and Jaguar under the brand names of Alpine in Japan. In 2009 he started up his own company, Blueprint Acoustics, and pursued individuals like himself who are now part of the Blueprint team in order to get his technologies out into the broader market place.
